Etymology
From Hebrew חַרְבוֹנָא (ḥarḇōnā). The name of a eunuch of Ahasuerus who, by informing this king that Haman had ordered a gallows to be built for Mordechai, provoked the king's anger and brought about his own tremendous punishment.
