The Central District of Gonbad-e Kavus County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان گنبد کاووس) is in Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Gonbad-e Kavus.[3]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 261,492 in 59,054 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 300,846 people in 77,501 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 320,894 inhabitants in 89,646 households.[2]
