A Republic of Korea sailor, onboard the destroyer ROKS Munmu the Great (DDH 976), waves to onlookers pier side shortly after the ship, along with ROKS Yang Manchoon (DDH 973), arrived at Naval Station Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, June 24, 2008, during the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2008 exercise. RIMPAC, the world's largest multinational exercise, is scheduled biennially by the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Participants included the United States, Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, the Netherlands, Peru, Republic of Korea, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. This year’s exercise was held from June 29- July 31, 2008.
