Hoa LĘ° is a former district of Ninh BƬnh province in the Red River Delta region of Vietnam. Before 1010, Hoa LĘ° served as the capital of Äįŗ”i Cį» Viį»t. Hoa LĘ° Ancient Capital is located in TrĘ°į»ng YĆŖn Commune (vi). It comprises 10 communes and one township: TrĘ°į»ng YĆŖn, Ninh HĆ²a, Ninh Giang, Ninh Mį»¹, Ninh Khang, Ninh XuĆ¢n, Ninh VĆ¢n, Ninh Hįŗ£i, Ninh An, Ninh ThįŗÆng and ThiĆŖn TĆ“n Township. As of 2003 the district had a population of 66,932.[1] The district covers an area of 103 kmĀ². The district capital lies at ThiĆŖn TĆ“n.[1]
The district was annexed by the city of Ninh BƬnh and formed Hoa Lʰ city on January 1, 2025.
