Michael Henry Niese (born January 13, 1998) is an American professional football guard for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Dayton Flyers and the Temple Owls.

Denver Broncos
On June 9, 2022, Niese was signed to the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent after going unselected in the 2022 NFL draft.[2] He was waived on August 30, 2022.[3]
Chicago Bears
On September 12, 2022, Niese was signed to the practice squad of the Chicago Bears.[4]
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
On January 18, 2023, Niese signed a reserve/future contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.[5] He was waived on August 29, 2023.[4]
Detroit Lions
On August 31, 2023, Niese was signed to the practice squad of the Detroit Lions.[4] He made his NFL debut in week eleven of the 2023 season in a win over the Bears.[6] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 30, 2024.[7]
