Nicholas Richard Bailey (born 5 July 1971 in Birmingham) is a British actor, best known for his role as Anthony Trueman in the soap opera EastEnders.[1] He also participated in the 2006 series of ITV's Soapstar Superstar.[2] He attended Old Swinford Hospital School, Stourbridge, The Blue Coat School, Edgbaston, Birmingham and Cherry Orchard, also in Birmingham.
Bailey has also performed in numerous theatre productions, with roles including, Macduff in Macbeth at The Mercury Theatre, Colchester, October 2014; Robert Mugabe's security officer Gabriel in Breakfast with Mugabe, and The Duke of Burgundy in Richard Eyre's production of King Lear at the National Theatre in London.[1] In 2012, Bailey joined the cast of BBC Radio 4 soap opera The Archers as Carl.[3]
