gram vs Gram
Hey @Kevmin: and IP user. Regarding the back-and-forth on this page about Gram vs. gram and some other minor changes. Perhaps this would be a good place for everyone to discuss and reach some kind of agreement? There seems to be a fairly minor disagreement causing quite a few reverts. For what it's worth, neither "gram-negative" nor "Gram-negative" is "correct", it's a stylistic choice (see previous discussion here). I prefer "gram-negative" which is why I wrote the article that way. Then in June someone changed it to a capital letter. Then Kevmin changed it back. Then the reverts began. I think this may all be a bit of a misunderstanding, so hopefully we can clear that up here? Thoughts anyone? Ajpolino (talk) 23:55, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Ajpolino: The major problem is the change from singular to plural. This is something that the IP has been told numerous times over the past two years is not needed, and that singular is fully acceptable. However the IP continues despite multiple editors reverting and telling he/she that the singular should be left if it is used. Apologies for blowing up your watchlist with the edits!--Kevmin § 02:28, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
