Algae viruses → Algal virus – The lead uses "Algal virus" rather than "algae virus", and we usually prefer to title articles in singular. * Pppery * it has begun... 14:48, 10 May 2023 (UTC)

- Tentative support; I think the singular form should be used here, but the article algae is at the plural title (not that I object to that; the plural algae is probably more familiar to most people than the singular alga, and most algae are encountered in nature as a mass of individual organisms that can't be readily distinguished from one another).
