Much of the "History" section seems to have been lifted from "Armenia Country Study Guide Volume 1 Strategic Information and Developments", p.66. Are just a sentence or a few phrases copied from a source acceptable? The entire section seems to me to constitute close paraphrasing, which many consider to be plagiarism. 2600:1000:B107:6DAB:6CD4:EA42:C35B:A5A6 (talk) 23:55, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

'Purity' claim
What is a 'pure form' of needle(point) lace exactly? What's this supposed to be a contrast to? Some forms of needlepoint lace are worked on a temporary ground, but that's a standard technique so can hardly be considered 'impure'. Unless there's some evidence that this is a consensus term, I don't think it should be here. If it is a consensus term, I think it should be sourced and explained. I'm slightly familiar with needlepoint lace, but by no means am I well-versed in the subject, so I'm not saying this is not a standard term. It's just that it seems a bit odd given how very common it is for this kind of lace to use something beyond needle, thread and snips. --86.5.88.131 (talk) 01:13, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
Merge proposal
Support the March proposal to merge the new article on Armenian Lace into the existing Armenian needlelace, as this seems to be a synonym, subset or close-related topic. Klbrain (talk) 08:50, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Change article to Armenian Textile Arts?
Most of this article is not about lace but about embroidery. I started to organize it a bit towards that end. Should the article then be about Armenian textiles? Or about Armenian embroidery with a section on lace? Ehgarrick (talk) 16:25, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
