- ... that "Arnold's Christmas", now considered one of the most memorable episodes from the animated series Hey Arnold!, was almost rejected by network executives because it depicted the Vietnam War? And [the executive] said, 'Approved. We're doing this.'"
- ALT1: ... that the episode "Arnold's Christmas" from the animated series Hey Arnold! was among the first instances in American television where the Vietnam War was depicted through a Vietnamese perspective? - Article is new enough and long enough, no copyvio or plagiarism concerns, sources are reliable. The article itself only states that executives nearly rejected it because of the "heavy subject matter". Personally, I think the implication is close enough that the claim of said subject being the Vietnam War is valid. However, others may object in favor of a more direct in-article reference. Leaving as a possible vote now, pending further comments in a reasonable timespan. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 18:51, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

DHN (talk) 20:50, 14 August 2022 (UTC)The anguish of Mr. Hyunh having to give up his infant daughter sounded so heavy to the network execs, and also even calling up a specific war,” Bartlett said. “You'll notice, he says, ‘There was a war in my country,’ and so we don't even say ‘Vietnam War.’
- All objections rectified. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 03:43, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
