Removing the proposed merger and adding references to Avenue of the Saints to Missouri Route 27 and Iowa Highway 27 instead. Despite the fact that the proposal has been around since June, both of the highways are part of WikiProjects designed to document all of the road systems in their respective states. - Reopening merge proposal. Iowa 27 is the Avenue of the Saints. Having separate articles for the same route in the same state is redundant.--Fredddie™ 01:30, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

- Support as nom. – IA 27 and MO 27 are the Avenue of the Saints. Having three articles is not smart. --Fredddie™
Oppose- Both these individual articles can be expanded to talk about that individual route, kind of like a state-detail page for a U.S. or Interstate Highway. The Avenue of the Saints article can overview the whole route from St. Louis to St. Paul. Dough4872 (talk) 00:48, 30 September 2009 (UTC)- Support - Changed my mind. - Support as the articles now stand. It could be split into state-detail articles, but that doesn't seem necessary, especially since Missouri Route 27 is so short. --NE2 01:47, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Oppose- You're forgetting Minnesota (Interstate 35 in Minnesota), so it's three states and three routes, not two. I say keep this article as the broad topic of "Ave of the St's"and keep the individual articles for the detailed stuff. It's not just one route and there's enough verifiable info for this article to remain,so I oppose the merger. Having to repeat all this info for all three states is what would be redundant.A general overview of the Avenue would be the better option for the state route articles.Similar case: Ocean Highway. --Triadian (talk) 03:51, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
- Revision to my position: Support merging MO27 & IA27 into AOTS: I was confused. I originally thought this merger proposal was to get rid of the AOTS article, but it's actually to get rid of the two state route articles. That, I would be in favor of. Just make sure we put a small mention of this avenue in the the Interstate 35 in Minnesota article. I can't find it in there. --Triadian (talk) 04:04, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
The exit list doesn't seem to make sense. I-35 after I-380? It needs to say what direction, etc... and it only seems to include Iowa? --Golbez (talk) 06:12, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
I-64 merger
I'm starting to look at improving this article, and it's becoming abundantly clear that all of I-64 in Missouri is part of the Avenue of the Saints. The Avenue article was written before I-64 was extended to I-70 in Wentzville and really hasn't been updated since then. Merging in I-64 would solve that issue for us.
All that would need to be done is reversing the route description and exit list so the south–to–north format of the Avenue is preserved. –Fredddie™ 00:26, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Upon finding this page, I am going to rescind my proposal. –Fredddie™ 00:53, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

I‐380
Should I-380 be added to the list of component highways? NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 05:32, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
