unsourced namesake
This text was not supported by the cites and I can't find any ref for it. Should be reinserted if it can be added.
At the time of establishing, it was the only museum that was dedicated to the art of carpet weaving. It is named after Latif Karimov.

Deleted history
A lot of uncontroversial-seeming history of the museum got blanked as unsourced and "overly detailed" today, if anybody wants to work that back with sources. --Lord Belbury (talk) 11:52, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
