Photos
I think the village's article is looking in much better shape now but would benefit from some decent photographs if anybody has any copyright free pictures they could upload and add, either historical photos or current day records 21stCenturyGreenstuff (talk) 01:26, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- You could check Geograph for relevant images. The pictures on that site are compatable with WP policy and you can upload them using the Geograph template. Asdfasdf1231234 (talk) 21:15, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Many thanks for that, and done. I am quite pleased with this page now. Appreciate the help 21stCenturyGreenstuff (talk) 17:43, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. I've put the image right at the top inside the infobox, as that seems to be the standard across articles. If you think another image would make a better lead, it's pretty easy to replace them (the code is in the Infobox template). Thanks, Asdfasdf1231234 (talk) 18:33, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Railway station
I am bemused by the reference to the railway station at Bayston Hill. I lived there from 1932 to 1950 and never saw a station. Where was it?? The nearest station in my day was Condover.Melgumgeoff (talk) 15:03, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Presumably by the quarry, as that's about the only place BH reaches the railway. Rojomoke (talk) 15:27, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Sarah Adlington
The British judoka Sara Adlington is a potential addition to the list of Notable People of Bayston Hill as her parents reportedly (I have heard on airwaves from local radio during time she was competing in the 2020 Olympics) live in the village. She may have grown up in the village, her birthplace is given as Shrewsbury (where many local mothers gave birth at the town maternity hospital) but could not add her without published information supporting her being here. Is anyone able to find a source?Cloptonson (talk) 10:24, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
- This article from 2011 (https://www.shropshirestar.com/sport/2011/01/25/county-judo-stars-strike-gold-at-sheffield/) calls her "Bayston Hill's Sarah Adlington". See also this from 2013 ("from Bayston Hill"): (https://www.shropshirestar.com/sport/2013/08/06/shropshire-judo-star-sarah-adlington-wins-gb-call-up/). - Thank you, I have added her with two of the citations.Cloptonson (talk) 17:03, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
Christopher Timothy (list of Notable people)
Although I have (in now distant past) read of claims he lived in the village in schooldays, I have raised a citation need against the statement he lived at Lythwood Hall as there is no citation against his entry. His wiki article only speaks of him living at Shrewsbury after he moved with his parents from south London, but that is backed by citation to a book. Published information to support statement please.Cloptonson (talk) 18:08, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
