I started the page because I want someone to clarify the distintion between the following:
For example, is cocaine addiction mostly a psychological addiction or a physical addiction? --Uncle Ed 14:50, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Hoarding
I changed picture for hoarding and I feel I need to explain. First is just usual home library and even if person has some hoarding problems it is not clearly seen from the picture unlike other picture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.230.189.111 (talk) 11:53, 26 April 2014 (UTC)
removal of treatment/diet section
I removed this recently-added section due to multiple problems which could not be resolved:
- This is not the OCD article. Please feel free to add a section about OCD treatment through dietary changes to Obsessive–compulsive disorder, taking into account the following problems.
- It consisted primarily of advice about diet, in the imperative mood. Wikipedia does not offer medical advice.
- Insufficient sources were cited.
- It appeared to contain original research.

- RE does not offer medical advice. Is Compulsive behavior a moral choice from freewill( a sin) or a medical illness?--Mark v1.0 (talk) 19:05, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
Rearranging and order?
This article doesn't seem to talk about rearranging objects to be perfectly aligned or feeling the need for absolute order. I thought that was the most prevalent part of OCD; is it not? Is it even a compulsion, or is it classified as something else? iRDM 19:25, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
The header image
Is it really necessary to have such a graphic and potentially triggering header image for this article? I'm sure there's something better that can be used... an OCD chart or something like that? Krystoff Moholy (talk) 18:23, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
Treatments and Cures
It would be nice to see something about how compulsive behaviors are addressed.208.66.148.83 (talk) 22:13, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
Introductory photo.
I'm not a censor; but, that picture of dermatophagia is kind of nasty. Ew. It doesn't offend me; but, it grosses me out.

Missing Link
In the section for body focused repetitive behavior, there is a subtitle for the main article that does not have a link to the actual main article. Could someone add this? I'm not sure how. Thanks! Oranguru765 (talk) 01:52, 19 September 2024 (UTC)
