This list was originally meant to be a List of Japanese Buddhist art and architecture, useful to help people understand articles about Buddhist temples, and it still shows a considerable slant in that direction. This is deliberate, because Buddhism if very far from my competences (and my interests), and I find terms like bodhisattva very hard to understand. I am interested however in temples, hence the article. I hope someone will fill the blanks I left. urashimataro (talk) 05:12, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
