Jamaica
Re this edit changing an unsupported assertion that the holiday is celebrated in Jamaica on the third Monday in October every year to an unsupported assertion that the holiday falls on the 17th of October every year, there seems to be disagreement about that in online sources. Could someone please add a citation of a reliable source about this? This also impacts the List of holidays by country (asserts October 17) and Public holidays in Jamaica (asserts October 18) articles. I note that the third monday in October fell on the the 18th in 2010 and falls on the 17th in 2011. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 23:44, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Heroes' Day in The Netherlands
From 7 October 2016 The Netherlands will have a Nationale Heldendag. So far, some 60 heroes were decorated throughout the year, from 2016 they will all be decorated on the same day. Pvt pauline (talk) 13:49, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
United Kingdom
I am a well-educated Briton with an active social life, a large extended family and a keen interest in current affairs, and I have never heard of a National Heroes Day in the UK. I dispute the notability of the entry in this article. I have heard of Trafalgar Day; it appears in some published appointments diaries, and is I understand celebrated in the Royal Navy and occasionally in a few other patriotic institutions (such as the Naval and Military, an élite gentleman's club in London). But that is not the same thing. Deipnosophista (talk) 18:28, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
