Recent Edits
In response to the recent edits: One. "An ancient town on the western coast of the Horn of Africa", Two. "Port of Hobyo", and Three. "Hobyo. City on the coast of Somalia in the region of Mudug". AcidSnow (talk) 01:23, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
None of these sources are credible. If you want demonstrate that Hobyo has a port, is ancient, or is a city, you need to provide proof. Random sources that mention these terms is extremely sloppy.
Port: Being entirely a beach, Hobyo cannot and is not a port. Ancient: Existing prior to Early Middle Ages. Proof of burden on the claim. Must back up with credible source. City: Obvious misnomer for a town with a few thousand individuals. Hobyo has never been a city. Burden of proof, again, on you. -Sageleaf
- My sources are credible and are not random, I choose specific sources that clearly contradict your statements. You, however, brought nothing other than your own claim; whch once again is not accepted here per WP:ORIGINALRESEARCH. So please provided something more since your statements are preety much worthless. AcidSnow (talk) 02:15, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
Faraax200 Vandalism
This user 174.21.46.198 is a user named Faraax200, he made this account for Vandalism purposes. He is disorganizing the page by writing about Hobyo Sultanate which is already written in the history section of the page but he is writing his own "History" which is to promote his clan. He is writing it on the top of the page and is talking about how there was a king in hobyo (Which is not true but there was a rebel who declared himself sultan of the town) there was never a king nor did the clan did the clan of the rebel who declared himself sultan control the town.
This IP user 174.21.46.198 is a user who goes by the Name Faraax200, he previously edited the page on July 29, but he made a new account just for Valadlism, can a Admin please do a user check? you will see it's the same user.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohamed958543 (talk • contribs)
- I am Faarax200, and I am not using another account. I am just using my IP address. I did not vandalize the page. He is putting false information on the page and removing history that is sourced by a book. 174.21.46.198 (talk) 09:24, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

the book The Shaping of somali society used as a source here
The book named The Shaping of Somali Society used as a source here does not mention Hobyo at all. You can check google books to see it.[1] Faarax200 (talk) 01:24, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
