John Burr
John Burr, a black man born into slavery, patented an improvement to the rotary lawn mower and his designs are used by motors to today. My issue is why is there only one sentence sentence relating to John Burr? 2601:804:8403:C6E0:B97F:7549:5F33:900A (talk) 16:53, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
- No single person invented the lawn mowers we use today. Instead, the design was improved over time by many people of which Burr was one. I am not a lawn mower historian, but it looks to me as if the mention is due weight considering his contribution. Sjö (talk) 17:04, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
