The result of the move request was: No move. Rough consensus that the additional disambiguation isn't needed. Cúchullain t/c 13:31, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
Rosedale, Kansas → Rosedale, Kansas City, Kansas – Rosedale is a neighborhood, not a city. The naming convention for neighborhoods within a city is <neighborhood name>, <city name>. In this case we also need to add "Kansas" to disambiguate Kansas City, Kansas from Kansas City Missouri. •••Life of Riley (T–C) 00:34, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Correction. Per WP:USPLACE the conventions on neighborhoods vary from state to state and follow common usage. There is a Rosedale in Missouri, but it is in Christian County, Missouri, not in KC, MO. I would therefore suggest that in the interest of shorter titles this article by kept at the current title, or moved to Rosedale, Kansas City. In any case there needs to be a redirect from one to the other. Apteva (talk) 01:34, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose once it was an official city in Kansas. We should stick with that convention. --Paul McDonald (talk) 01:39, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. Pointless to further disambiguate the title, and as stated above previously held city-status anyway. Zarcadia (talk) 17:22, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Support - WP:TITLE says, "if an organization changes its name, it is reasonable to consider the usage since the change." Marcus Qwertyus (talk) 09:20, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Comment--this isn't an organization changing its name, this is an organization that ceased to exist. Such as Eastern Air Lines, Confederate States of America, and Tenochtitlan.--Paul McDonald (talk) 15:27, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- Still there [1]. Marcus Qwertyus (talk) 15:51, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

- Oppose. Double disambiguation is awkward and should be avoided. At Apteva points out, there is no Rosedale in Kansas City, Missouri, and therefore no need for a second disambiguator. Kauffner (talk) 06:04, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. What Kauffner said. --Born2cycle (talk) 00:45, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
- Comment. Just fyi, Rosedale is not alone. See this category. Most are at "Neighborhood, Kansas", with a couple at "Neighborhood (Kansas City, Kansas)". This should be proposed as a multi-move for consistency's sake. Dohn joe (talk) 20:20, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
