Talk
[edit]This article seems to be a copy of Derivative_works#Transformativeness. The Derivative_works section should be synopsized into a sparse wiki structure, and this article extended so that work isn't duplicated.--John Bessa (talk) 13:43, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well, that's an ironic comment. Are you saying this article itself isn't sufficently transformative? Robofish (talk) 11:01, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
- Not to mention Transformation (law). It should probably all be merged to one location, but which? —Geoff Capp (talk) 00:27, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]Transformativeness and Transformation (law) should be merged and Derivative work#Transformativeness made a WP:SUMMARY of the merged article. The patent sense can either be included in the merged article or, if the merged article is to be copyright-law specific, add a hatnote to United States patent law. jnestorius(talk) 17:02, 3 December 2019 (UTC)
- Jnestorius, I agree. Onceinawhile (talk) 13:24, 7 October 2020 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 06:04, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
