Rationalised
DanielT5 emailed me suggesting that the distinction between "south" and "south-east" is very artificial and moreover does not exist in any reliably sourced publications, so wished me to combine them. I took the initiative to do so as I could really see no argument to retain the present separation, but if anyone has any issue with it feel free to reply below. - yes I think this article should include ALL Wheatbelt towns as there's not a huge number of them. Template:Riverina does this for another region so I think we should too. I'm happy to look after it and write any missing articles DanielT5 09:33, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- That doesn't sound like a bad idea. If you want me to get a comprehensive list for the areas not already covered I can help you for that, and point you to some good sites I used to fill them. I admit to often just copying existing ones then looking on council sites, department sites etc to substitute in the correct info. Orderinchaos 10:17, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Failed to update this at the time, but we ended up agreeing to include the *entire* Wheatbelt, from Dandaragan to Darkan and York to Yilgarn, in this template. It's a large list, but as it's not going to grow (and may well shrink as needs require), I don't think there's a real problem with the size. Orderinchaos 12:43, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Category:Towns in Western Australia
Should this template include Category:Towns in Western Australia - any town in the WA Wheatbelt is necessarily a town in WA. Mitch Ames (talk) 13:18, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
