The black-throated barbet (Tricholaema melanocephala) is a species of bird in the Lybiidae family. It is found in Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its distribution has moved northward.[3]
