This user is an instructor for the course Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/Johns_Hopkins_University/Johns_Hopkins_Medicine_Freshman_Seminar_(Spring_2017). |
I work for Loyola Notre Dame Library, which serves Loyola University Maryland and Notre Dame of Maryland University. Though I plan to edit any articles in which I think I can contribute new information or improve style and citations, my original impetus for joining was to find ways to share information in our unique special collections with the world. I am an active member of the GLAM community and the Baltimore Wikipedians and am always looking for ways for the places where I work to engage more deeply with Wikipedia. I like editing articles on local and urban history and under-represented groups in Wikipedia.
Conflict of Interest Statement
I, Charm City Archivist, am an employee of Loyola Notre Dame Library, a cultural institution per WP:GLAM. I accept the editing conditions specified at that page. I will not make any edits that would not be beneficial to the goals of Wikipedia.
My main edits tend to consist of the following activities:
- Creating or enhancing existing articles relating to university history, based on both published and original primary source materials.
- Adding authoritative references, citations, and images to improve the quality of existing articles of all types.
I will modify my editing behavior based on problems cited by other editors or if my editing conflicts with other Wikipedia guidelines. I ask that other editors do not hesitate to contact me, via my user talk page, if I appear to be going against this declaration.
