Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put

You have shown interest in pseudoscience and fringe science. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Ayurveda
[edit]I suggest you make edit-requests rather than continuing with your current approach at the article talk page. Otherwise you're likely to face block or ban for disruption. --Hipal/Ronz (talk) 03:35, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
- FYI, I'm surprised you haven't been banned yet. --Hipal/Ronz (talk) 17:21, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]I have noticed that you were the creator of the Matha Ayurveda Eye Hospital article and that you promoted that hospital at Diabetes and Diabetic retinopathy (one example that was reverted). Your text when joining WP:ALTMED included "Propagation of Ayurveda as a Science". Ayurveda promotion also appears to be going on at Talk:Ayurveda, so I am sending you this standard template since you have not received one before. While it does include words like spam, since you did not re-add the contested material and that it was long ago I do not think spamming is a current concern, but it's part of the standard text. Thanks, —PaleoNeonate – 05:06, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
Hello, Arunjithp. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. —PaleoNeonate – 05:06, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Your edits at Talk:Ayurveda are tendentious, and are seemingly part of the campaign of disruption organised by Opindia on Twitter. If you fail to cease your disruption, you may be blocked without further warning. --RexxS (talk) 17:29, 1 September 2020 (UTC)
@RexxS: I agree that my requests have been too frequent and persistent. I realize that I was doing too many live edits that that caused much disruption. I assure you that it will not happen again. I am also aware of the disruption organised by Opindia on Twitter. FYI, I am NOT part of it. Arunjithp (talk) 05:59, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
- Please accept my apologies for suspecting you of being part of the Opindia campaign. I think you can appreciate why the coincidence of your multiple posts and that campaign would raise suspicion, but I'm glad to be proven wrong. Let's try to find some common ground where we can work together to improve the article. Regards --RexxS (talk) 15:32, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

Stop creating empty deletion discussions
[edit]Stop creating empty deletion discussions! Such discussions, without a good reason why the article needs to be deleted, are useless, and when created en masse are actually disruptive. Fram (talk) 11:03, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- The articles marked are biographies of living persons, without adequate reference citations. Kindly check and revert Arunjithp (talk) 13:30, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- Revert what exactly? No matter what the reason was you had to nominate these for deletion, you shouldn't let others guessing. Further, sports BLPs sources to sports sites are in general perfectly acceptable (though it would be a lot better to have more fleshed out articles and sources). If there are things in an article you think aren't adequately referenced, please indicate these (with citation needed tags, or by starting a talk page discussion). But this is not a deletion reason; we delete articles because they are about non notable subjects (which is independent of the current sourcing of any article), because they are attack pages, copyright violations, ... While we have a special mechanism to delete completely unsourced BLPs, there is no policy or guideline which calls for deletion of sparsely sourced but correct BLP articles.
- You are free to propose such a policy, but not by creating AfDs without any explanation for (for the most part) notable people. The Village Pump would be the better location for this. You would need better arguments than what you have presented so far though, to propose the elimination of many thousands of articles (I might even agree with you that such elimination would be a good thing, or at least a proposal to stop creating further such articles; but not like this). Fram (talk) 13:49, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
Those were are articles with no reference at all. If at all there were references, it was not secondary references. That was the reason. Anyways, will follow the advice you have given, and tag appropriately in future. Arunjithp (talk) 15:09, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
What is your reason for deletion discussion?
[edit]Please give your reason for the AfD on Neveal Hackshaw. Thank you. --Whiteguru (talk) 11:04, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Whiteguru and Fram: I'd like to add my 2c here too. All your recent AfDs appear to qualify for WP:SK #1 (I've just noted such on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Atiba Charles). AleatoryPonderings (talk) 11:18, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
- None of references can be taken as secondary. Details -> ref 1 - taken from an interview with the same person whose biography is being written.ref 2 - Not a secondary reference. ref 3 - Primary reference. Arunjithp (talk) 11:38, 4 September 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
[edit]The article Matha Ayurveda Eye Hospital has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
An alternative medicine organisation, with no remarkable achievement or coverage to merit an article on Wikipedia. Lacks significant coverage in third party media. The sourcing does not rise to the standard set by WP:ORGCRIT. In addition, due to the nature of the organization, WP:FRINGE and WP:MEDRS are relevant, and there need to be strong sources than what is available to allow articles on this topic.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Walrus Ji (talk) 11:51, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
