This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 8x63 mm patron m/32, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 8x63 mm m/32. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 14:41, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, First thanks for your contributions and introducing some Swedish reference material. Sadly the 8x63 mm patron m/32 nomenclature does not conform to the conventions used for metric cartridges nomenclature used in Wikipedia. Metric cartridges in Wikipedia English articles use the AxBmm other stuff pattern. For this cartridge I read several alternatives for the other stuff part. What do you think is the most appropriate other stuff or can we omit the other stuff? Sadly we can not use the C.I.P. rulings nor SAAMI guidelines as a help for the most appropriate cartridge nomenclature, since there are no data sheets available. Can you provide information if this cartridge was used by sport shooters and hunters, since it performs quite close to the 8×64mm S cartridge and the rebated rim idea was later used in the bigger 8×68mm S cartridge?--Francis Flinch (talk) 19:41, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'll copy this to the discussion page for the article itself, maybe we can get more input. BP OMowe (talk) 20:02, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

Gripen article
[edit]Hello BP, and thanks for your contributions to the Saab JAS 39 Gripen article. However, one of your latest additions was reverted by another editor who stated his concerns in his edit summary. Per WP:BRD, one should not revert back, as that could be the beginning of an edit war. There is only one R in WP:BRD, and one revert was already done before yours. Please acquaint yourself with that guideline, and discuss with the other editor on the article talkpage. There's every chance that you might find middle ground between the two of you, that could establish a new WP:CONSENSUS.
Thank you.

Editing sections of articles under discussion
[edit]Per WP:BRD and WP:STATUSQUO, disputed content should not be edited while it is under discussion. Per WP:STATUSQUO, when edits have been disputed, and while the matter is under discussion the status quo reigns. You should not just force your edits into the article without first establishing consensus on the talk page. --AussieLegend (✉) 15:19, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- On the contrary, it is you who do disrupting edits against both the consensus on the talkpage AND against the MOS you referred to. Looking at the history of the article, this is quite prominent. BP OMowe (talk) 17:08, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- I suggest you read the guidelines. Your edit while discussion is underway introduced a number of errors that had been explained on the article talkpage. As for consensus, what is on the talkpage does not constitute consensus. --AussieLegend (✉) 00:59, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

Jameson's mamba
[edit]Hi, I noticed you added a copyright issues tag to Jameson's mamba but have not listed it at Wikipedia:Copyright problems or left a note on the talk page to say if you are going to handle the issue yourself. Unless you do one of those things it is unlikely anyone will take action on the article, or know that you intend to fix it yourself. I only happened to stumble across it because I'm currently working on Black mamba. Bellerophon talk to me 13:30, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- I was actually working on the Swedish article, checking the sources, when I noticed the text been copied straight into wikipedia (unless the source copied wikipedia of course). Simply finding a tag not outdated required several walls of text, listing it even more and not very concise prose. Long story short, just too much work so I left the tag there without intention to fix it myself (although I'll probably reluctantly get around to do it eventually because no one else does) BP OMowe (talk) 22:30, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Chris Kyle kill count
[edit]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Chris_Kyle/Archive_1#Tally Just as a forewarning, this isn't the first time DHeyward has challenged the sentence about sniper kill counts. He's reverted it multiple times, every time someone puts it back, he reverts it out. The sentence was there for months before he and MONGO came along and started to WP:OWN the page in early January. He's also engaged in edit warring on the American Sniper (film) page. So, I'm glad he hasn't bared his fangs at you, yet, but he will revert stuff and make up whatever justification he has out of thin air. I hope you can reason with him, as thus far he pretty much will act unreasonably toward those whom do not agree with his opinions which he takes as facts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:2:4E00:C662:C8B6:E565:5CDE:7945 (talk) 06:03, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
- I don't mind bared fangs, as long as the article gets correct, written in accordance with reliable sources. Personal experience tells me how easy it is to get locked up in a specific view of how things are to be written and what is to be included, so for now I'll assume good faith in spite of the obvious conduct. I do appreciate the archive-link, should administrative actions be needed to calm things down. BP OMowe (talk) 00:40, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Saab 29 Tunnan into United Nations Operation in the Congo. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 22:12, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- Makes sense, as I've been unable to establish who actually wrote that particular part of the article. Is there any kind of tool on the wiki site to see who added a text? BP OMowe (talk) 19:50, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
