Creation of articles
[edit]Hi! I just noticed your page Storms in years (not 100% accurate), and while the article you made had effort put into it, it wasn't up to Wikipedia standards. I just wanted to direct you to some useful pages Help:Introduction, and Help:Your first article. Remember to cite sources for pretty much everything you make, too.
I also don't mean to discourage you, you seem enthusiastic about helping Wikipedia, but an article is a very large goal as a beginner, I've been editing for a while and I haven't made an article yet, maybe make smaller edits first to learn the ropes (you seem to already know how to work the editor, which is good), and work your way up to an article. Don't forget to ask questions if you need help at Teahouse.
Welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope you enjoy your stay!
P.S. An article doesn't need to be "approved" by a mod or dev, anybody can start an article, but it's recommended to start with a draft first. Thx56 (talk) 21:10, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
