Star Reach in Heavy Metal cat?
You asked: "Did publishers of Heavy Metal publish a reprint of Star Reach materials?"
Yes. As far as I can tell anyway.
While I can't pin down my exact thinking behind the bibliography says "Interior color was dropped and completed color stories were re-sold or moved to either Heavy Metal or its upcoming Marvel rival, Epic Illustrated." Which suggests there was a reason for it (rather it being a copy and paste error - which is always a possibility). If that doesn't seem to be a strong enough link then feel free to remove the category, but if you do drop a note into the talk page - it is possible someone else can better pin down the link in which case it could be added back in. Your call. (Emperor (talk) 01:23, 10 May 2008 (UTC))
LPI Media, Advocate, Alyson, etc.
Yes, there do seem to be some issues with the timings of the letters of intent and the actual aquisition. If you find any more references, please add them. It's too bad that there aren't more media accounts of these mergers and aquisitions. It seems from the redirect of the website that there is a unit called Regent Magazines, but I couldn't find any media reference to that.--Larrybob (talk) 22:40, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- Also, I'm taking your suggestion and moving Alyson Publications to Alyson Books.--Larrybob (talk) 02:07, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Hello, I noticed
(1) that you have not had any mail in years and (2) that you just did an edit at Elisa Jimenez. I am trying to locate her to ask for permission to use my pictures of her father's sculpture on wikipedia but can't find her. I live about an hour from Santa Fe, where I believe she might be. Any insights? If you have some but do not want to post them here, feel free to start a discussion at eeklon at yahoo dot com. Thanks for your consideration, Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 18:09, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. I've tried a few things, to no avail. Writing you was a long shot, but those do come in. A friend of mine was in San Diego CA recently and when she told someone that she had lived in New Mexico for a bit was asked, " Oh did you know Judy B" - who turned out to be my neighbor. Which is why it never hurts to ask. Carptrash (talk) 18:59, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Warning
Hello EarthFurst - thanks for your information. You can issue a warning to MUFADDAL A SHAKIR. Please inform KylieTastic. I am a native German speaker. I'm more interested in the processing of the backlog and giving helping instructions such as {{subst:uw-editsummary}} or {{subst:uw-preview}}. Best wishes --Frze > talk 12:05, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hi EarthFurst, I'm not sure a standard warning will get over to the user why there edits are being reverted. However adding a note to their talk page would be appropriate. The content is not encyclopaedic and adds nothing to the article, plus the images have so far been invalid. However I can see why they are interested in this case and I don't think they are being deliberately difficult. As the user name matches the linked articles author it's also clearly original research. I've put a watch on the article in case they do it again. Cheers 13:34, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
