Nina Girado
Sorry, if some of my edits don't qualify what you're saying. However, all of them them specially the Nina albums edits are all true. I get the information from Nina's retail CDs. Just remind me again if I doing something wrong.
About the change of sales in Nina discography, I just copied the section on wikipedia "Biggest-selling albums on the Philippines" on the article Music in the Philippines.
- Thanks for answering. Can you please add a description of your edits in the edit summary? Just cut-and-paste the words "Copied from Wiki article on best-selling albums on the Philippines"...that would be much better than nothing at all. Regards, Piano non troppo (talk) 05:37, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Thanks too. I'll try my best to help Wikipedia construct qualified articles.

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to the page Araw Mo (EP). Blank pages are malicious to Wikipedia as they often confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate revision. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please use the deletion process for how to proceed. - Ok, i'll just try to delete the page because the title says EP and "Araw Mo" is a promo single not an EP.Kristelzorina (talk), 28 November 2009

Hard at work on Nina Girado
Hi, I see you are still hard at work on Nina Girado. There are maybe a couple questions (including your own) on the discussion page that you might want to answer? Nothing pressing. Cheers, Piano non troppo (talk) 09:17, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, I'm not the one who posted that question on the "Biography" section of the Discussion page of Nina Girado... I just added the title "Biography" to make the page ordered and arranged... :) Kristelzorina (talk) 02:07, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Nina Girado and WP:SELF
Note, you cannot use the subject of the article's website to "verify" claims about awards won or other self promotional content. Active Banana (talk) 12:32, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I can't understand. What are you saying? I'm listening... Kristelzorina (talk) 12:40, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- A person's website can be used as a source / to verify "non-controversial"/non-self promotional content about themselves. So we can generally* use it for statements they make about their life (where and when they were born, where they went to school, who influenced them, what their intentions were when they wrote a specific song, etc.)
- However, "I won X award" or "My song sold Xgajillion copies" is promotional in nature and needs to be from a different source - either the charts themselves or mentioned in an article in a newspaper or on TV program that can be verified on the newspaper or TV's own site.
- Does that help clear it up?
- * then to make it more confusing again, if reliable sources provide counter-claims to what is on the persons website, we would go with the reilable sources not the persons website. Active Banana (talk) 14:47, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Please do not include the MYX charts, or any other charts listed at WP:BADCHARTS, in any Wikipedia articles. Thank you.—Kww(talk) 14:49, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for your efforts at sourcing!
I appreciate that you are making strong headway at providing sources for Nina Girado and clearly working through to understand what types of material are acceptable sources! Active Banana (talk) 14:39, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

I think you can get some help about your chart question from here (or the talk page): Wikipedia:Manual of Style (record charts). I dont work enough with the music charts to know much more than Billboard for the US. Good luck!Active Banana (talk) 16:11, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

Reliable sources
I am on a dial up now and cannot access the site, but you can go to Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard and get feedback. You might want to give a little more specifics, such as "I would like to use this as a source to back this statement: "MusicCriticA called her voice 'the most amazing range I have heard.' while ArtistX said 'I wish I had the clarity of tone that she produces in her high notes'" Active Banana (talk) 12:51, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Proposed blackout in protest of RA 10175
Dear Kristelzorina,
Greetings!
As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 12, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.
Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.
Thank you and maraming salamat po!
Kind regards,

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Nina - Anything For You.ogg
Thank you for uploading File:Nina - Anything For You.ogg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

2019 US Banknote Contest
US Banknote Contest | ||
---|---|---|
November-December 2019 | ||
There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here |

The file File:Nina - Love Moves In Mysterious Ways.ogg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Sample not an improvement to understanding the whole live album. In other words, not contextually significant.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. George Ho (talk) 07:37, 6 April 2024 (UTC)

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
