Note about changes on Copyright infringement
Hello!! I'm Thilio, Thanks for your contributions I noticed your edits on article (Copyright infringement) and I reverted a couple of them because, (piracy and theft) were linked and capitalized but these are common words being used figuratively so per (MOS:LINK) and (MOS:CAPS) they shouldn’t be capitalized or linked an added phrase "or the belief that certain information should be free" wasn’t supported by the sources and slightly changed the meaning so it was removed per (WP:V) and (WP:NOR).
Please don’t be discouraged your edits looked like good-faith attempts to improve the article! If you’d like you can discuss potential changes on the article's (Talk) page first to get consensus. Thanks again. ThilioR O B O T🤖 talk 05:58, 22 September 2025 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello WikiGrower1! Your additions to Frederick Winslow Taylor have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license—to request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § Licensing.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:24, 24 September 2025 (UTC)

Your edit to Music piracy
Thanks for your contribution to the article on Music piracy! I've also noticed your contributions to other articles related to economics and copyright.
I've been working on this article on-and-off for a while and I could use your help expanding/revising it, if you're up for it. The main problem I noticed with the article is that it was highly slanted towards recent events, which is understandable because most online sources only discuss piracy in the digital age (1990s onward), and sometimes the "Home Taping is Killing Music" campaign. But record piracy was a big problem for recording artists and labels throughout the 20th century, and in many cases there were legal loopholes permitting it.
The main source I'm relying on is Democracy of Sound, a history of music piracy and the evolution of copyright law in the 20th-century U.S. written by Alex Sayf Cummings. If you're interested in helping me expand this article, you can borrow the book from your local library or buy it online. I especially need help sourcing information about record piracy during the Golden Age of Radio, when bootlegging, unauthorized radio broadcasts of records, and home recording of radio broadcasts were rampant. It'd also be helpful to supplement the book with other reliable sources, if you can find them.
Remember to respect copyright laws when using this source: facts can't be copyrighted, and generic phrasing of those facts are probably okay to use (this is called the merger doctrine). However, copying substantial portions of the exact text is obviously not allowed, and the author's creative selection and arrangement of historical events into a cohesive narrative may be copyrighted as well (to the extent that it deviates from chronological order). So in using the book as a source, I've stuck to rearranging the facts into a logical structure that makes sense for an encyclopedia article, which is why a lot of page-level citations (i.e. {{rp}}) in each paragraph are out of order. (This is not legal advice.)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Bridge article
Thanks for adding a citation to the bridge article. That particular citation is not needed because the entire introductory section does not use citations. Normally most sentences do require citations ... but the lead section does not have to have them if the same material is found later on in the body of the article, so your instincts were good but it's not needed right there. National varieties of English
Hello. In a recent edit to the page Social control, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the first author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Meters (talk) 07:39, 21 December 2025 (UTC)

December 2025
Hello, I'm Objective3000. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that in one of your recent contributions you cited a link to a source that may not be reliable. Sources considered unreliable should generally not be used to support statements. Information from an unreliable source can be challenged by other editors and removed. Reliable sources are generally those with a reputation for fact-checking and editorial oversight. Self-published material, user-generated content, and certain other outlets such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, and websites or publications with a poor reputation for fact-checking may not meet these standards. If you are unsure about which sources are appropriate, there is a list of sources that are considered generally reliable. Additionally, some WikiProjects have their own lists of sources that are considered reliable for that particular subtopic. If you are still unsure about a source's reliability, you can ask at the reliable sources noticeboard. Thank you.
I see that you have been warned here multiple times for changes supporting anti-copyright themes, at times using non-reliable sources. WP:RS Before you make such changes again, please gain consensus in the talk page. Wikipedia uses reliable sources and respects copyrights. O3000, Ret. (talk) 00:59, 27 December 2025 (UTC)
- Let me add to this warning. You've been editing less than three months and yet you have already received numerous warnings about problem edits. You need the guidance of an experienced editor for two reasons: to help you avoid losing your editing privileges and to help the rest of us from having to clean up the problems you create. I think you edit with good intentions, but you need to step back and edit more judiciously. Please seek a mentor at WP:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area. Sundayclose (talk) 03:03, 27 December 2025 (UTC)

Greenland tariffs
There's an ongoing discussion at TalK:Donald Trump#Survey: Greenland crisis whether or not to mention Trump's announced intention to annex Greenland somehow. Until there is a consensus to add something, the topic should not be added per WP:NOCON which IMO includes the coercion tactics. Please, self-revert this edit. Even if and when the topic is added, this would be too much detail for the top bio. Have you considered taking the info to Second_presidency_of_Donald_Trump#Greenland and/or Greenland crisis? January 2026
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Selfie. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Stop making this edit. The picture adds nothing useful to the article, and your comment is POV and unsourced. Either follow WP:BRD and discuss your contested edit on the article's talk page or leave it alone. Meters (talk) 04:09, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
Your edit to Income inequality in the United States has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for information on how to contribute your work appropriately. For legal reasons, Wikipedia strictly cannot host copyrighted text or images from print media or digital platforms without an appropriate and verifiable license. Contributions infringing on copyright will be removed. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing a page's content back to how you believe it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree with your changes. Please stop editing the page and use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution such as a third opinion. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.
If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule— if things indicate that you intend to continue reverting content on the page. - Stop the accusations of sockpuppetry. Now. Unsupported accusations of that kind are considered personal attacks, and little tolerance is extended to editors who resort to that kind of behavior when they're in a dispute with someone. Acroterion (talk) 00:34, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- I misspoke earlier when I suggested possible sockpuppetry. My intention was to review the situation for policy compliance, not to accuse anyone. WikiGrower1 (talk) 00:59, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- I don’t know what is going on. WikiGrower1 (talk) 00:27, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- Are you sock puppet ing? Why do you have two accounts? WikiGrower1 (talk) 00:19, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- I'm an administrator (presumably the "other person" you were referring to). I noticed you're wandering into edit-warring. I warned you appropriately to ensure that you were aware of that, that you would keep that in mind and that it was being noticed. I have taken no part in any edits. Stop assuming bad faith. If you think that somehow you're being harassed, WP:ANI is available, but it may not go the way you expect it to, especially if you imagine that Meters and I are the same person.. - I have noticed that two accounts appear to be closely coordinating in this content dispute. I am requesting administrative review to determine if this may involve sockpuppetry. WikiGrower1 (talk) 23:47, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- I mean the other person WikiGrower1 (talk) 23:42, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- I’m reporting you. look at my user page of what I’ve accomplished. WikiGrower1 (talk) 23:41, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- It was already defined for you: WP:EW. Your edits clearly fit the definition and you were politely informed before you run into trouble. I suggest you back off. O3000, Ret. (talk) 23:39, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Define edit war. I am just trying to build upon work while protecting it. WikiGrower1 (talk) 23:23, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Acroterion (talk) 00:41, 23 January 2026 (UTC)- Since you refuse to stop accusing people with whom you disagree of sockpuppetry with no basis for doing so beyond being disagreed with, you're blocked for personal attacks after several warnings. As for "provoking me into saying something I'll regret", you've done that all on your own. Stop digging the hole deeper. Please take this seriously. Acroterion (talk) 00:44, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- You’re trying to get me to say stuff I regret this is called admin abuse. WikiGrower1 (talk) 00:46, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- On the contrary, Acroterion is trying to get you not to stay stuff you may regret. I fixed your unblock request for you; please remain calm while an admin comes around to it. Children Will Listen (🐄 talk, 🫘 contribs) 05:16, 23 January 2026 (UTC)

- I misspoke earlier when I suggested possible sockpuppetry. My intention was to review the situation for policy compliance, not to accuse anyone. WikiGrower1 (talk) 01:01, 23 January 2026 (UTC) I for the accusation. I meant to say it might need investigation. WikiGrower1 (talk) 00:48, 23 January 2026 (UTC) :I don’t know if he’s trying to help me now or if he’s trying to provoke me WikiGrower1 (talk) 02:24, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I'm extending this block indefinitely. The time for you to WP:DROPTHESTICK was when you were first blocked. Yamla (talk) 11:08, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
