Landon Morris (born December 21, 2002) is an American football tight end for the Temple University Owls Standing 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 235 pounds, Morris has been recognized for his athleticism and perseverance throughout his collegiate football career.

Early Life and Education
Landon Morris was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Hilton and Lori Morris. His father played baseball at UNLV, and his mother, a former Miss Basketball for Indiana, earned recognition as a McDonald's All-American in 1997. His sister, Lauren Morris, currently plays basketball at Holy Cross College in Indiana.
Morris began his athletic journey at Hamilton Southeastern High School, where he played both football and basketball. He later transferred to Nazareth Academy in Illinois, earning recognition as a three-star recruit. While at Nazareth, he recorded 81 catches for 1,456 yards and 13 touchdowns. Named to the All-HCC first team and identified as one of the top 10 tight end prospects by Sports Illustrated All-American, Morris showcased his potential early. During the COVID-19[2][3] pandemic, he returned to Indianapolis and completed his senior season at Fishers High School.[4][5]
College Career
2024 (Redshirt Junior): Morris returned to action this year, making his collegiate debut with Temple University. He made an immediate impact with his size and skillset, recording his first career catch against Oklahoma State (OSU)[6]. Highlights of the season included a career-long 20-yard reception in the rivalry game against Army[7], and a breakout performance during the Homecoming victory over Tulsa (TU)[3], where he achieved personal bests with 4 receptions, 97 receiving yards, and a 58-yard catch[8][9]career touchdown, a 25-yard reception from quarterback Evan Simon[10], came during a game against East Carolina (ECU),[11] further solidifying his role as a key offensive contributor. His performance earned him Academic Player of the Week honors.[12]

2023 (Redshirt Sophomore): Although Landon Morris was unable to take the field this season due to the NCAA double-transfer rule, his impact on the team remained significant. Demonstrating his commitment to growth and his team-first mentality, Morris excelled in his role on the scout team, earning recognition for his hard work and dedication.[3]
He was named the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week twice during the season, for his standout efforts in preparing the team ahead of matchups against Southern Methodist University (SMU) and University of South Florida (USF)
2022 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not appear in any games during his time at Utah.[13]
2021 (Freshman): Originally signed with Syracuse[14] and participated in spring practices in 2021 before entering the transfer portal and transferring to Utah.[15]
