Info about the Lisa Loeb show
Hi, I am Allen Salkin. Someone keeps changing the info on the Number One Single part of my bio to something which is innacurate and nasty. The basic fact is: I was on the show and I know what happened. Not everything you see in the version that was shown on TV was completely accurate. I do not want to remove this item entirely because it is something people know about me, but it is accurate to say the relationship ended AFTER the gossip item appeared. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Allensalkin (talk • contribs) 21:32, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- The standard on Wikipeidia is verifiability, not truth. Wikipedia:Verifiability, not truth. If you can get a reliable source to report on your truth, it may be included. Otherwise, what has been reported in Wikipedia:Reliable sources will govern. Inonit (talk) 04:12, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
Restoring maintenance tags
Tags for WP:AUTOBIO and WP:NOTADVERT were removed, perhaps mistakenly, by Novemberjazz in an edit that didn't address the concerns with the content.
The article today seems to have the same issues. It relies heavily on primary sources. The article content seems to be written in conflict with the guidelines on writing an autobiography, as much of the content was written by an account named after the subject, or accounts / IPs that have only contributed content to this article or articles related to the subject. Specifically:

Because of that, I'm going to restore the tags and will work addressing those concerns in the article. Davidwbaker (talk) 10:42, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
