Impossible!
I refuse to believe that Blayney, born in 1728, took his degree at Oxford in 1735, aged seven! This is given in the Jewish Encylopedia article referenced, from which practically the entire article is taken verbatim. Perhaps the digits were transposed, and the date should be 1753?
