Birth date
Was Clark not born in 1941 ?
Derek R Bullamore 17:28, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
No, because he was recruited into the New Christy Minstrels at the age of eighteen, in 1963, he increased his age by three years to enable him to perform in adult clubs. His birth date of 1944 is etched on his gravestone and was approved by his parents.
POV
The article sadly degenerates as it expands. The "Legacy" section, however well meaning, is pure POV - therefore please, or deletion.
Derek R Bullamore 00:26, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Your point is taken and the "Legacy" section has been deleted.
NPOV
I removed please discuuss it before re-tagging : Albion moonlight 18:46, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Lead section
The main article needs much work too but a lead summarising the whole article would be great, it surprising how many people just read the lead and move on. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 22:36, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Mention of Grammy nomination for Clark
I've looked at the 2011 Grammy nominations, and the only thing I could find is that the "Where the Action Is" box set, covering the mid-60s L.A. scene and containing Clark's "Los Angeles," was nominated in the category of Best Historical Album. I'm removing the reference, since it does not seem notable in a biographical narrative of Clark's life and work. 217.209.212.48 (talk) 22:37, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
Clark biography missing
there is a huge chunk of biography missing, probably due to an edit made on June 3, 2013. Everything prior to late solo career is missing — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.137.55.58 (talk) 16:04, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
Personal Life
This whole section seems to have nothing at all to do with Clark. Perhaps someone tried editing several pages at once and made a mistake? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.149.235.116 (talk) 20:13, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up about this. I've removed the section and tidied up the relevant sections. Don't know how that went unnoticed for so long. --Kohoutek1138 (talk) 22:33, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
