Needs an infobox, but basically a B.
The article may be improved by following the WikiProject Biography 11 easy steps to producing at least a B article. -- Yamara 03:55, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
My recent edits
Sorry for putting all these changes together, just really enjoy London's work and thought I'd improve something. 72.75.14.233 05:49, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have no idea how to edit this info. I just have a correction. The link to Robert Fuller in the Television section goes to Robert Fuller the wrestler [1], not to the actor [2]. 2601:C2:C100:B6:E1E6:A650:DBE1:E2CE (talk) 18:05, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for spotting that. Have now corrected it. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:35, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
Good Article nomination has failed
The Good article nomination for Julie London has failed, for the following reason:
- Article is dwarfed by the list of films, which contains too many non-linked movies. Suggest creating more articles on films she appeared in, or condensing the list to a "selected filmography". Main body of article is an informative biography, but imho does not comfortably hit the "compelling prose" benchmark. Hope to see this improved and re-nominated. Deizio 21:28, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Birth name
There are various sources, those for Nancy seem to be recent. If a definitive source is found, (i.e. one that covers the various names and looks at how they arose) it should still be recorded that the other names were reportedly her birth name. All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 21:01, 24 September 2016 (UTC).
- What is the source for 'Nancy'? --Jaan Pärn (talk) 10:36, 25 September 2016 (UTC)
Her name is Nancy Gayle Peck. She is my 3rd cousin. Her father is Clarence Leamen Peck b.1900, her mother is Josephine Taylor b.1905. She is listed on the 1930 Federal Census as Nancy G Peck at 1092 11th St San Bernardino. The 1930 census lists her fathers birthplace as California, this is correct. It lists her mother's birthplace as Illinois, this is incorrect, it is Indiana. Her maternal grandparents are Franklin R Taylor b.1875 and Lillie June Etta Street b.1879. They were married 11 May 1901 in Grant County Indiana. Nancy Gayle Peck is on the 1940 census as Gale Peck 936 23rd St San Bernardino. She is on Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007 as Nancy Gayle Peck. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.247.246.185 (talk) 09:29, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
Wednesday
Why does to matter that she died on a Wednesday? Yes, it's a fact. Yes, it can be supported by WP:RS sources. Although it's the sort of calendar fact that needs no sources. Most deaths are reported in biographical articles by means of a date alone. Possibly with a rough or exact time of day. But not usually with the day of the week, unless this was in some way significant. I can see no significance in the day of the week here. So I think it's wholly unnecessary.
