Public domain!
Why does the list state that it "may never be able to satisfy particular standards for completeness", considering all the guest lists are now publicly available? Is this a reference to the fact that some guests (e.g. Hillary Clinton) have attended although not being on the official guest list? If completeness is the goal, simply adding those members whose name is on the official lists would get over 95% of the way there. -- 119.30.38.152 (talk) 04:23, 16 June 2019 (UTC)
Hillary Clinton
Originally I removed Hillary Clinton from the list of participants (see this edit) I was unable to find any real evidence that Hillary Clinton attended - however, after looking into FOIA files I noticed one line in 2008-0637-F that states:
Then Governor Clinton attended the 1991 Bilderberg Conference in Baden-Baden, Germany (for which no records were available); and First Lady Hillary Clinton attended the Atlanta, Georgia Conference in June of 1997.
This confirms, in one sentence, that Hillary Clinton did indeed attend the meeting held in June of 1997, contrary to my previous research. Intriguing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Touch Of Light (talk • contribs) 03:47, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
2009 meeting reference trouble
The 'main' reference for the participation in 2009, labelled <ref name=BilderbergMeeting2009/> (presently yielding note [51]), unhappily points to a dynamically updated list of participants, namely http://www.bilderbergmeetings.org/participants.html. This list now (12:14, 3 June 2019 (UTC)) lists the participants in the 2019 meeting. A relevant old edit was made here, but I also did not find http://www.bilderbergmeetings.org/meeting_2009_2.html, existing or archived. Still, I think it is probable that there is some appropriate web-archived list available, which someone with a better understanding of web archives than I possess should be able to find.
