Living former governors
It's common practice to have a living former governors section on these articles. Perhaps a central discussion should be held to keep or delete these sections. GoodDay (talk) 01:02, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
- It used to be common practice. But several have become featured without, because no one has ever - and I've tried to get them to but they never have so far - justified its inclusion, apart from "well other articles have it." Why do we need to take up space in the article for something so immensely trivial? I vaguely understand it for presidents, but no one cares about governors in this way. It adds a maintenance headache, they seem to attract poor writing, and ... again, there's no purpose. --Golbez (talk) 22:53, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, there's a separate page for such a thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:241:301:4360:499C:742A:561D:6729 (talk) 18:43, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
