[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Former Deposed Emperor of Liu Song. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20080210050102/http://ef.cdpa.nsysu.edu.tw/ccw/02/ssh1.htm to http://ef.cdpa.nsysu.edu.tw/ccw/02/ssh1.htm

Portrait of Liu Ziye
[edit]I have a problem with the picture, supposedly of Liu Ziye that illustrates the article. I assume that the Chinese writing next to the portrait does identify the character, but that picture is of an unknown source and date, and unless and actual scholar of Chinese can confirm the caption, we can't be sure the character depicted is really the deposed emperor. I mean, that picture is that of an older man, while, if I understand the article correctly, he died aged 16, well before he could develop such facial hair. Svartalf (talk) 19:00, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
- The picture is used on Chinese Wikipedia, and they don't seem to have an issue with it. I agree that he looks older than 16 in the picture, but that might just be the result of the art style of the artist. Artistic freedom, so to speak. Nakonana (talk) 13:05, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]There are no sources for any of the text. Are the sources for all of the information from the "Book of Song" which is used for reign? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ciddler (talk • contribs) 08:41, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
Verification
[edit]Where are all the primary sources and have they been verified? This seems all to be reminiscent of the inane plot for the fictional historical drama “Untouchable Lovers” -the line that claimed he ordered his attendants to have intercourse with the princesses is just preposterous and unlikely to be true or verifiable. Imperial/court attendants that are not officials were traditionally eunuchs anyway. 74.78.74.217 (talk) 17:25, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- If it's possible to contact the editor(s) who added all that unsourced information, then that might help. You could ask them where they got their information and if they can add sources or remove it. Before we WP:TNT the section and start over we should try to find a way to verify any good info that's there. Pyrrho the Skipper (talk) 20:16, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
