- I'll review this shortly. Seattle (talk) 14:42, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
- Files check out in terms of copyright. No DAB links, no dead links.
- Did Latos demand the three million after the junior college or before? A sentence explaining how Latos was able to attend junior college after being drafted would be helpful for clarity.
- He demanded it after the draft, before enrolling at Broward. I hope that's more clear now. The signing deadline was right before the next draft, so they signed him in time. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:03, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Latos spent a year at Broward College, a junior college, where he Padres' typo

- Watch ndashes throughout the article, needed in win–loss records and the term itself.

- Watch caps in ref 40.

- The biggest issue this article has is that the lead needs to be more developed about his pitching in MLB and should include some career statistics. The MLB section seems underrepresented in the lead, and the "pitching style" and "personal life" sections are completely unrepresented. Incorporate these elements into the lead, and I'll do a reference spotcheck after these fixes. If that comes out clean, I'll be happy to promote this as a GA. Seattle (talk) 15:29, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- Give me a day or so to improve this part. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:06, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- How is this? I don't think career stats belong in the lead at this point, as those change on a start-by-start basis. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:55, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
- Looks good. Copyright checks on refs 4, 9, 20, and 32. Only problem:

- our article: all broward county by the miami herald and the south florida sun sentinel. SI article: all broward county by both the miami herald and the south florida sun sentinel. I would switch the order of the two newspapers.
- I'll pass this as a GA when this is addressed. Seattle (talk) 16:32, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
