The article states that :"Ligorio diverted from the traditional view of earthquakes as supernatural phenomenon, and treated them as a natural occurrence around which man could reason." In fact earthquakes had been examined as natural phenomena since antiquity. On the other hand Ligorio, who has a political agenda, in his Libro di diversi terremoti argues that earthquakes are signs arising against tyranny and pravity ("contra le pravità et contra le tyrannie”). 84.73.134.206 (talk) 13:32, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
