Removing ‘Main’ template from each state presidential election article
The documentation of the ‘Main’ template explains that the template should not be used in lead sections. Despite this, it seems to be used in nearly every lead section of articles in the ‘[YEAR] United States presidential election in [STATE]’ format; the number of articles in this format may be above 2,000 if every United States presidential election has a Wikipedia article for each U.S. state which had existed at its time. I removed the template from a few articles before realizing the extent of this issue. How should the remainder be removed? –Gluonz talk contribs 14:36, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

"Electoral College Results" Table
There are columns for ranking by popular vote and for ranking by % of popular vote.
There is also a column for ranking by Electoral College votes. There should also be a column for ranking by % of Electoral College votes. LordofChaos55 (talk) 21:28, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
Note 1: Popular Vote
The first {{efn}} is not strictly correct and disagrees with the article it links and this[1]. How should we fix this? McYeee (talk) 21:10, 14 August 2024 (UTC)

Close paraphrasing in 2 sections
I added the Close Paraphrasing template to 2 sections. Both contain very similar wording from the article that is referenced at the end of each. The first paraphrasing (in section Election Dates) comes from the first bold heading in the referenced article ("Q. Why are presidential elections always in November, and always on Tuesdays?"). The second paraphrasing (in section Inauguration day) comes from the 5th/last bold heading ("Q. Why do presidents have to wait all the way until January 20 to assume office?") abcasada (talk) 20:54, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Abcasada I've gone ahead and removed the text and invited everybody to write new material by adding the empty section template to those two spots. Thanks for finding this! The material was added all the way back in 2012- goodness knows how much longer it would have stayed if you hadn't said anything! GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 09:39, 29 November 2024 (UTC)

Correct Pop Vote Margin
Doing the math trump got (according to AP) 77,268,289
The total votes tallied 152,251,111
77,268,289/152,251,111=0.507 x 100 = 50.7% This is how we calculate the percentage and as you can see the margin displayed in the template is incorrect we can do the same with the harris margin. OnlyWinningMove (talk) 02:41, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
