Wikidata proposal (Comprehensive Database of Archaeological Site Reports)
Hello User:Bamse, it has been a while. Sorry to trouble you, but there's a wikidata proposal which needs some support to go forward and I'm struggling to find anyone else who might be interested: Wikidata:Property proposal/Archaeological site (Japan) ID (relating to the Nabunken Comprehensive Database of Archaeological Site Reports). Were you so inclined, great, thank you (as always), and of course no worries if not, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 00:53, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- I am not too familiar with wikidata. That's some kind of link from wiki to other online databases (nabunken in this case)? If so, that looks like a good idea. How do I support it? bamse (talk) 01:11, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, an external link from wikidata to this nabunken database, along the lines of those for the cultural property database and cultural heritage online on the Shirataki Sites item; while the authority control template, or more likely Template:Normdaten over at jawiki, could be amended (or a more specific derivative version created), so that this link appears at the bottom of the wikipedia page(s), it's likely this link will only be in wikidata, although the wikidata items and their statements this proposal would support also flow through via Commons Template:Wikidata Infobox onto the Commons category pages, as for example Category:Haniwa horse from Kamichūjō (Tokyo National Museum); in terms of how to support, here's the proposal for Property proposal/Cultural Heritage Online ID—as you can see, it may be that not much in the way of support is needed for a proposal to be approved, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 09:27, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
