Sources
I've been unable to find any verifiable sources for latest addition to the Days cast list. Have you read anything other than www.soaps.com about Melanie? Thanks. Rm994 (talk) 21:20, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Melanie
No idea, dude. Soaps.com is the only one reporting her coming. I don't even know who the actress is. There are lots of comings and goings at Soapoperafan.com, but it is obviously also a fan site. I wish they would put all those one day guest appearances on Soapoperadigest.com! Later. Rm994 (talk) 23:42, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Apparently, she is Max Brady's half-sister. Still no verifiable sources are reporting her arrival, although at this point it seems a sure thing. Rm994 (talk) 22:59, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Lucas Roberts
I know that Lucas has changed his name on the show to Horton, but per WP:COMMONNAMES, he must still be referred to as Lucas Roberts. I think it should be Horton too, but we must follow the rules. Thank you for understanding. Hope you are well. Rm994 (talk) 20:39, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
It was probably someone new. I didn't recognize the IP, so I left them a nice message on their page. I really do think it should be Horton too, but the argument is that it was Roberts from 1993-2007, and that is how most people refer to the character. It's just like when everyone was trying to change Sami Brady to Sami Roberts, or Sami DiMera. Most people know the character as Sami Brady, therefore it must remain that way. Same as Lucas, I guess. And hey, I see that you've been fussed at about edit warring...let me know if I can help you with anything. Rm994 (talk) 02:44, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Matt Sydal
Per WP:COMMONNAME, the article's name should be Matt Sydal. In addition, a consensus is normally to be established at WP:PW before one such article is moved. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 21:42, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
July 2008
Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally while discussion about it is underway, as you did to Matt Sydal. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Please quit moving without consensus 1362talk 03:18, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Like Gavyn said go to WP:PW look for article name changes. Go there and make a request and then the project will decide on it 1362talk 03:26, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'll tell you the answer to your question on 1362's page. It all depends on what the decision is. If the consensus is to not change it then it will not be change and you'll have to deal with that. If it is to change then it will be changed, without question.--WillC 03:32, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

The page should be titled Matthew Korklan and not Matt Sydal!!!! :S
Decline reason:
There is no evidence you intend to stop edit warring. Being right does not allow you to violate policy. The block will remain. If you resume the edit war, you will be blocked again. — Jayron32.talk.contribs 05:03, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- But it shouldn't per WP:COMMONNAME and current consensus. Three users have told you this. What's the problem? Why do think the page should be his real name in the first place? Gavyn Sykes (talk) 03:57, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Regardless, edit warring is inappropriate, move warring even more so. If you're unblocked, are you going to just keep moving the page, or will you use discussion pages to seek consensus? – Luna Santin (talk) 04:10, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Judging by the unblock request he will just go right back to edit warring. Tiptoety talk 04:12, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Matt Sydal
- Go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Article name changes. Go to the bottom. Hit edit on Atlas Dabone. And place the following
==[[Matt Sydal]]==
I would like to nominate [[Matt Sydal]] for a name change. From Matt Sydal to Matthew Korklan.~~~~
Underneath Atlas Dabone. That is how you do it.--WillC 07:31, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Katie Lea
So what if Lilian Garcia doesn't say Burchill? She and Paul Burchill are storyline siblings anyway so I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Anyway, she's listed as Katie Lea Burchill on WWE's official website. http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/ Miztahrogers (talk) 04:46, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Avoid obvious, redundant, and useless links
Please stop. What is it that you can't understand. Kayfabe and color commentator are already linked in the prior sub-section. No need to link every single occurence. You have been blocked for a period of 31 hours for edit warring on List of World Wrestling Entertainment employees over WP:OVERLINK issues. It is essential that you are more careful to discuss controversial changes with the user in question, rather than simply revert them repeatedly: this applies even if you think or know you are correct. Edit warring helps nobody, and actually harms the page in question, and the encyclopedia. To contest this block please place {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Habs,
Thanks for adding STL # 804 at Sainte-Dorothée (AMT). much obliged. Peter Horn 14:32, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Ile-Bigras
Hello,
Please don't rename the link on the STL page to Ile-Laval. The page for Ile-Bigras (AMT) will be created. All the other links are for the station pages, this one shouldn't link to the geographic area.

The page for Île-Bigras (AMT) has been created. Please do not modify the Société de transport de Laval page in favor of Îles Laval.

I think you're familiar enough with things now that you know how to do it. I've seen some of your contributions to the page, things I would have done myself. Keep up the good work....I've been in a tuss with some new editors lately. See ya :) Rm994 (talk) 16:35, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Oh and thanks for the support...I think he/she is just new and doesn't understand the rules yet. I would just like to help them out if I can :) Rm994 (talk) 16:41, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
It's gotten REALLY out of hand...sort of discourages me from editing on here. Have you been following? It was never anything personal with that new editor...I was just trying to explain the rules. I was really hoping he would be like you, and calmly familiarize himself with the rules of this site, and then we could have yet another person have our backs with soaps...but it didn't turn out that way. :( Rm994 (talk) 21:50, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for the kind words. I just hated to see things escalate to name calling...but as long as we remain civil and do our best to make this site right, then we should feel good about the work we have done. Later :) Rm994 (talk) 16:22, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Phenonmenon8980
While I appreciate your concern, I must remind you that we must remain civil on this site, including any emails sent to users. I have no personal gripe with Phenonmenon8980, I just wanted to explain the rules to him. I'd hate to see you blocked for disruptive behavior, as you are a valuable asset to this site! I really do appreciate your concern, but we must behave appropriately. To engage in hot debates would only further the cause the editors are "picking" on Phenom. Thank you :) Enjoy your day. FYI, an anon contacted me with concerns about an alleged email you sent to Phenomenon8980... Any truth to this? See top thread on my talkpage for details. --Elonka 16:13, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Phenomenon8980
Hey there ... Phenomenon8980 is claiming (through IP 131.247.244.190) here that you sent the email posted there. If so, you need to know that the threatening tone and foul language is completely inappropriate. I know you are "friends" with Rm994 and Phenomenon8980's actions have been inappropriate as well, but back-and-forth threats are never the way to solve any conflict. I personally reported many of Phenom's actions which have led to three different blocks, but I am now defending him in this instance because you are violating the same rules. Further, the conflict with Rm994 seems to have been over for a few days now, and it is not necessary to revive it. In the future, consider a friendly message to an offending user pointing out possible aggressive or inappropriate behavior, and then a possible friendly warning is necessary. Follow that up with reports through proper channels if necessary. But we must always act civilly, and editors responding in an uncivil manner will ending up getting blocked on their own. Thanks. — TAnthonyTalk 16:25, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Rafael
I was unable to find a reliable source that says Galen Gering is playing Rafael...did you read that in the actual magazine? If so, that's allowable. Hope you are enjoying your weekend :) Rm994 (talk) 19:45, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Matt
I think he should be deleted, yes. I'm not sure if he meets the criteria for inclusion in former cast members though. Usually, they must be in at least 50 episodes, and I'm not sure he was. Rm994 (talk) 18:05, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
DAYS
Melena and John are leaving the show in a couple of weeks leave it alone. and for your proof is soaps.com and soapcentral have reported the pair are leaving the show. --M42380 (talk) 02:00, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- just so you know there is proof that the girls are coming to the show. so please leave it alone. --M42380 (talk) 03:26, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Where's the proof? For goodness sake man, you say that the girls are coming to the show but no sources. So how do you expect me to believe you? To use your words, "so please leave it alone." HabsMTL (talk) 04:01, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
First of all, I am not a man. The girls are coming to the show on soaps.com but i need to find another site before i can site. You really need to leave things alone for the siting part. We are ready had a problem with Melena and John.--M42380 (talk) 15:21, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Just a question, why did you revert the comings and goings of List of Days of our Lives cast members page? The changes were sourced by a verifiable source. Has soapoperadigest.com changed in reliability? Just wondering. Thanks bro. Rm994 (talk) 15:59, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I've seen where people have tried to put in their final dates, and as we know, they haven't left the show yet. It is ok, however to list them in the comings and goings section. Also, I want your opinion about something. Go to the discussion page at Nicole Walker and comment there about what you think about listing Nicole's "children". Thanks dude. Rm994 (talk) 18:35, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
I saw on www.soapoperadigest.com that Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans did in fact, last air on February 17. I'm not telling you you shouldn't have returned the content, because it was unsourced...but just be careful with it. You'll probably hear about it later on. Let me know if I can help with anything. Have a great weekend :) Rm994 (talk) 02:13, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Hello. Just wanted to let you know that Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols taped their last episode on 1/28 and it aired on 2/17. They are no longer with the show. Soap Opera Digest (both the print edition and website) have confirmed this. I only make edits to the cast page when the info has been officially confirmed. Jason Jason47a (talk) 07:05, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Just to let you know, I reverted your last change to Days of Our Lives cast member page because the IP editor fixed a link that was going to the wrong place. The link should go to Will Roberts (fiction), and it was going somewhere else. Thanks, and hope you are doing well. Rm994 (talk) 03:10, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
I think, as usual, it is going to blow up in Nicole's face. What's kind of funny, is that Sami is somewhat a victim in this (for the first time). I mean, she shouldn't be trying to hide E.J.'s child from him, but the joke is on her....he HAS the child! I understand the motivation for wanting to keep her children away from Stefano, though. Although, he hasn't done much wrong doing lately. I'm waiting for the writers to make him the villian we all know he can be! But Nicole will probably end up on the street again, with Brady as her only friend...and then we may see a Brady/Nicole romance. They're going to drag it out as long as they can, you know. Rm994 (talk) 17:30, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Just to let you know, Rachel Melvin hasn't actually left yet. She will be back in a few weeks to help usher out Darin Brooks. We can remove her then. Hope you are doing well! Rm994 (talk) 17:58, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

BLATANT VANDALISM WARNING
Do NOT remove content without adequately explaining why, as you did at Blue Bloods season 14, especially if your edits turn an episode summary into a blatant copy-and-paste description of the episode as written by others. That is vandalism and plagiarism. If you do this again, your editing privileges WILL be PERMANENTLY REVOKED and you will be REPORTED. Quite frankly, you should just be reported right off the bat, so consider yourself lucky to receive this warning at all. 2601:5CC:4000:74E0:100:578F:1E63:EFE2 (talk) 19:29, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- We don't need a fully detailed description of what happened in the episode. Anyways, I'll let this go. No point in undoing it week after week. HabsMTL (talk) 01:23, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
December 2024
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. 2601:5CC:4000:74E0:CEC:A8D3:EC4C:4BCD (talk) 23:59, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
