Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Talk:InterCity 125, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Danners430 (talk) 20:53, 25 March 2023 (UTC)

Use of citation templates
Please do not use bare URLs as citations, such as done here - they are unhelpful to readers, and are subject to link rot. Please try and use templates like cite web wherever possible. Danners430 (talk) 05:18, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- I have found the templates often brake the link, on the Web version however mobile version templates work well only on mobile however it is easier to edit on web as it allows you to do more stuff. I Like The british Rail Class 483 (talk) 11:51, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- In what possible ways do the templates break the link? Please show an example. Danners430 (talk) 11:54, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- For example one of the templates caused a pdf file to stop working, when it was still accessible, it removed https://www part of the link. I Like The british Rail Class 483 (talk) 13:04, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- Can you show an example of this? I've used Template:Cite Web for many web-hosted PDF documents, and there have been no issues at all. Danners430 (talk) 13:22, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
