What is going on with that Lama reference? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.15.11.82 (talk) 21:06, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
The picture on this page is not Priscilla Alden. There are no known pictures of her. Alden.org is given as the source but they state regarding pictures on their site, "the pictures shown here bear absolutely no resemblance, unless purely coincidental, to what John and Priscilla actually looked like. We simply do not know." lgvalenti Lgvalenti (talk) 23:50, 20 November 2009 (UTC)--Lgvalenti (talk) 23:50, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
Comparing the date given in the article for their marriage with the dates given for the births of their first two children, it seems that they had children before they married each other? Is this true, or do we need to double check these dates? If true, would this not have been the subject of some comment at the time? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.63.238 (talk) 18:00, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
There is significant data on Priscilla Mullins Alden in: Yates Publishing. U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations Inc, 2004. Original data: This unique collection of records was extracted from a variety of sources including family group sheets and electronic databases. Originally, the information was derived from an array of materials including pedigree charts, family history articles, querie.
This data gives her birth date as 1599 or 1600, and marriage in 1623. In Ancestry.com some Individual family trees give her death date as 5 February 1688 in Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts. However, the individual family trees do not always rely upon firmly rigorous documentation. My point: There is a heck of a lot of data about the very early immigrants to the English colonies; this page could use someone to filter through it for additional information. 69.215.128.32 (talk) 06:30, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
