Averroès
This page is about a Wikipedia editor, it is not part of the encyclopedia. I came up with my username after I became a fan of Averroes, who according to George Sarton[1] "was great because of the tremendous stir he made in the minds of men for centuries. A history of Averroism would include up to the end of the sixteenth-century, a period of four centuries which would perhaps deserve as much as any other to called the Middle Ages, for it was the real transition between ancient and modern methods." For Etymology see, Averroism.
The above image is a closeup of Averroes from The School of Athens, a fresco, which depicts gathering of figures of great philosophers and political thinkers of all time.
